Vincent Wiscovitch, Of Counsel
Graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science from New
York University,
Stern School of Business in 1991. Thereafter, while in St. John’s University
Law School, Vince was an Executive Board Member of the Moot Court Honor
Society; a two-time finalist in the St. John’s Civil Trial competition; a
semi-finalist in the St. John’s Criminal Trial competition; a recipient of the
American Jurisprudence Award in the subjects of Torts and Legal Research and
Writing; and an award winning brief writer and appellate oral advocate. In addition, Vince worked as a research
assistant to Professor Francis J. Facciolo.
He served internships with the Honorable Pearl Corrado of the New York
State Supreme Court; the New York State Attorney General’s Office – Charity,
Trusts and Estates Bureau; and Nassau/Suffolk County Legal Services’ Domestic
Violence Clinic. Vince graduated
St.
John’s (J.D.) in 1994. He is admitted to the state bar
and U.S.
District Courts in New York and
New
Jersey and to the U.S. Tax Court. Vince is a member
of the New York State Bar Association.
Prior to joining this office,
Vince worked for one of the country’s top 100 largest international law firms
as a litigation associate specializing in State and Local Tax, Intellectual
Property, Insurance and General Commercial litigation. Vince received the Eppa Williams pro bono service award for outstanding
service to the community for three consecutive years. He then worked for one of
Long Island’s largest law firm’s as a litigation associate
specializing in Intellectual Property, Insurance and General Commercial
litigation. Vince has also worked in a boutique law firm specializing in
Copyright and Trademark litigation.
